Kccwa Vision, Mission and Objective

 kccw is a localy registerd, Non profit making and Non Governmental organization established in July 2001. Currently its area of oprations are in Addis Ababa  and Debre Berhan town and its vicinity in the North showa Zone of the Amhara National Regional State. It has been a member of Christian Relif and Development Association (CRDA) since December 2004.

 VISION

To create a society in which proper physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development of children is ealized.

MISSION

Work towards the attainment of a social order where
the multifaceted problems of children will be mitigated
significantly.

OBJECTIVE

Contribute towards poverty alleviation by striving to bring about improvement and lasting positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children, particularly, orphaned, abandoned, and destitute children with the help and active involvement of the community at large.

What We Do

KCCWA receives orphaned and abandoned children from an Authorized Government bodies to its children's home and provide all services including medical care in the two project areas it operates in.

KCCWA believes that the best place for the proper physical, mental and moral development of such children is a loving and caring family home, not an anonymous institution. Therefore the organization in collaboration with the Regional Bureaus and Ministry of Women's affair works hard to place orphaned and abandoned children in a loving and caring family through adoption both locally and internationally. However, local adoption request are encouraged and given priority as the best place for a child is presumed to be his/her place of origin.

International adoption is considered only as a last resort after exhausting all other alternatives childcare means such as foster care is tried and failed to materialize
